CELEBRATING the best of ethnic minority talent and thought leadership, the annual GG2 Leadership & Diversity Awards 2023 by Asian Media group in association with pladis will be taking place in Central London on 7th March 2023.
Now in the 24th year, the awards recognise and reward high achievers within Black, Asian and ethnic minorities groups and celebrate the very best of multicultural Britain.
The awards are sponsored by the British Army, Daily Mail, Morningside Pharmaceuticals, Royal Air Force, Maniyar Capital, Hearst UK, and Royal Horticultural Society.
It brings together people from all walks of life to acknowledge the extraordinary, hidden talent within ethnic minority communities in Britain. It spotlights remarkable people who use their talents for the greater good.
The event will have an audience of over 700 guests from all the sectors, including senior politicians, influential business leaders, military personnel, celebrities from the arts, film, TV, and sports.
The awards are distributed to an individual or an organisation for an outstanding and impactful ED&I (Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion) initiative which has accelerated change within the organisation and created a better working environment and sense of belonging and well-being.
The awards are classified into various categories, like:
Previous year’s winners include Bina Mehta, UK Chair, KPMG – GG2 Hammer Award in association with pladis; Lord Karan Bilimoria CBE DL, Chairman and Founder of Cobra Beer Partnership and President of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) – GG2 Ram Solanki Beacon Award; Azeem Rafiq, Anti-Racism Campaigner and Former Professional Cricketer – GG2 Pride of Britain Award; Sanjay Bhandari, Chair, Kick It Out – GG2 Diversity Champion of the Year; School of Marketing (Gen Z Programme) – GG2 D&I Initiative Award.
