CAMBRIDGE Judge Business School is commencing a six-week online programme named ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: DEI Strategies for Business Impact’ to ensure viable diversity& inclusion strategies in the workplace.
The programme will begin on Thursday (2nd June), and it features diverse perspectives from both academia and industry levels, including faculty leaders and high-level executives.
This particular programme is designed to help managers and executives understand the importance of DEI in the workplace and gain actionable insights and strategies to support DEI within their organisations.
They will be providing a holistic view of diversity that goes beyond race, gender, ethnicity, and class with the goal of improving both business outcomes and social responsibility.
By the end of the programme, participants will be prepared to develop a DEI strategy for their current organisations.
Key aims of the six-week online programme are as follows.
There are six modules and weekly assignments included in the programme that will contribute to the final capstone project: creating a DEI strategy for implementation in the participants’ firms.
The programme also features a blend of case studies and other relevant industry examples that provide opportunities for the students to analyse different scenarios and companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, HubSpot, Goldman Sachs, etc. This will give the students a chance to reflect on the various situations, decisions made, and outcomes.
Participants will be awarded a digital certificate of completion by Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education after the successful completion of the programme.
Last month (April 2022) the University of Cambridge offered a total of 52 students a special foundation course in a bid to increase the diversity of the student intake, focusing on some of the most disadvantaged groups and offering them a lower grade threshold to get on the course.
